Military Training & Curriculum Development SpecialistLocation: Sterling Heights, MI (On-Site)Pay Rate: Up to $47.00/hourEmployment Type: Contract-to-Hire (12 Months)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Military Training & Curriculum Development Specialist to support the development and delivery of training programs for advanced military vehicle platforms. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in military instruction, technical writing, and training development who can operate independently while collaborating across program teams.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Development & DocumentationDevelop training materials in accordance with government regulations and contract requirementsWrite, update, and maintain technical documentation, including system procedures, presentations, and training contentUpdate Programs of Instruction (POI) for trainers and military school instructorsEnsure all materials align with DA Pam 350-70 and associated training development standardsInstruction & Program DeliveryConduct platform instruction for Soldiers, Marines, and New Equipment Training (NET) personnelSupport training requirements for newly developed military vehiclesMaintain instructor certification for military platform trainingSystems & Data ManagementPerform data entry and updates within the Army Training Doctrine Database (TDC)Ensure accuracy and completeness of training records and materialsCollaboration & Program SupportWork cross-functionally with program teams to ensure training aligns with system capabilities and requirementsContribute to overall program success through collaboration, communication, and continuous improvementQualificationsRequired8-12 years of experience supporting military operations or training programsBachelor's degree or certification as an Abrams/Bradley Master GunnerPrior experience as an instructor in a formal military school environment (Abrams or Bradley platforms preferred, or similar ground vehicle training)Strong technical writing and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesPreferredFamiliarity with DA Pam 350-70 and related training development standardsExperience developing curriculum and instructional materials for military applicationsProven ability to communicate effectively across technical and operational teamsWhy JoinThis role offers the opportunity to directly support military training initiatives by developing and delivering impactful curriculum for advanced vehicle systems.
