Chief Financial Officer

Pragma Edge is seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer to lead the company’s financial strategy, planning, and operations. This role will be responsible for building strong financial discipline, improving forecasting and reporting, and partnering with executive leadership to support profitable growth.The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of strategic leadership, financial acumen, operational rigor, and experience supporting a growing technology or services organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all aspects of finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and financial reporting.Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with company growth objectives.Partner with the CEO and leadership team on business planning, pricing strategy, margin improvement, and investment decisions.Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.Build and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and financial governance.Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation to support business expansion.Prepare board presentations, executive dashboards, and financial performance reports.Evaluate business opportunities, risks, and operational efficiencies to improve profitability.Support M&A, due diligence, integration, and other strategic initiatives as needed.Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations, including tax and audit requirements.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.Strong background in financial planning and analysis, accounting operations, and executive-level business partnering.Experience in technology, IT services, consulting, or a fast-growing business environment preferred.Demonstrated success in improving financial processes, reporting accuracy, and business performance.Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience with private equity-backed or growth-stage organizations.Knowledge of SaaS, services revenue models, or project-based business operations.Experience managing audits, tax planning, and financial systems implementation.Prior exposure to multi-entity or multi-location business structures.What Success Looks LikeAccurate and timely financial reporting.Stronger forecasting and budgeting discipline.Improved margin and cash flow performance.Better visibility for leadership through dashboards and KPIs.A scalable finance function that supports Pragma Edge’s continued growth.Why Join Pragma EdgePragma Edge offers the opportunity to help shape the financial future of a growing organization while working closely with executive leadership.
