Location: Fully onsite in Cambridge, MA - 3-4 months, may be extended. Reports to Facilities Maintenance and Central Services Manager. Working as part of a team providing service to HUHS departments; includes but not limited to answering phone, taking messages, providing administrative support, filling medical and office supply requisitions. Executes deliveries of medical supplied within 24 hours of work order request. Coordinates and works with Purchasing Assistant to place orders for medical supplies with vendors to maintain par level in Medical Supply Storeroom. Maintains accurate inventory records using Excel spreadsheets, including tracking medical supplies. Receives deliveries, which may require unloading supplies from delivery trucks on the street. Other duties include processing daily mail, delivering UPS/FedEx and packages received from currier and delivery services. Assists in delivering supplies to all HUHS Satellites. Assists with assembly and installs office furniture and accessories and with moving office and medical equipment and furniture. Provides coverage in the absence of other staff and other duties as assigned.Must have:High School diploma or equivalent. Able to lift 80lbs safely on a regular basis.Preferred:Experience working with medical supply stocking. Proficient computer skills including Excel. Excellent customer service skills; written and verbal communication skills.
