Role: Asset ManagerLocation: North East / New YorkHybrid / Remote: Hybrid preferredThe OpportunityA rapidly growing energy platform is looking to add an Asset Manager to support a portfolio of renewable energy projects across the U.S.This position sits at the intersection of operations, finance, and commercial strategy—owning day-to-day asset oversight while helping drive performance optimization and long-term value. You’ll work closely with internal leadership, operators, and capital partners to ensure assets are operating efficiently and in line with contractual expectations.What You’ll Be Responsible ForPortfolio OversightTrack performance across operating assets, identifying trends, risks, and optimization opportunitiesEvaluate production, availability, and storage metrics against forecasts and contractual targetsPartner with third-party operators to resolve performance issues and improve outputCommercial & Financial SupportContribute to annual budgets and ongoing forecastsAnalyze operating costs and revenue drivers across the portfolioSupport lender and investor reporting requirementsMaintain and refine asset-level financial modelsContracts & Risk ManagementHelp manage key project agreements (PPAs, tolls, O&M, interconnection, financing docs)Track critical milestones, obligations, and compliance requirementsAssist in contract amendments, negotiations, and issue resolutionReporting & CoordinationProduce regular performance and portfolio updates for internal and external stakeholdersAct as a central point of coordination across technical, financial, and commercial workstreamsEnsure accurate documentation and data integrity across assetsWhat They’re Looking For3-7 years of Asset Management / O&M experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or power marketsDegree in Engineering, Finance or related fieldExposure to solar, storage, or hybrid assets in an operations, analytics, or asset management capacityStrong analytical skillset, including Excel and financial modelingFamiliarity with operational data systems (SCADA or equivalent)Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentWhy This RoleBroad, hands-on role with visibility across technical and commercial functionsOpportunity to join a scaling platform backed by institutional capitalStrong runway for career progression as the portfolio expandsWe welcome all applications regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability or Veteran status.
