Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (PRN) to work from our office in Collierville, TNTelerhythmics Cardiac Monitoring is a Digirad Company and provides ambulatory diagnostic cardiac monitoring nation-wide. We seek candidates who will meet our customer expectations by continually striving for the greatest possible reliability and quality in our services by being accountable, having a voice, and taking action.Essential Job Functions:Accurate measurement and interpretation of EKG telephonic recordings in a timely manner in coordination with patient symptoms.Uses sound judgment regarding correlation of EKG test and symptoms; observes all areas of nursing process and awareness of cardiac patient medications and historyAbility to react appropriately to cardiac emergency situations and comply with clinic protocol and specific physician parametersCustomer service and satisfaction standards consistently exhibited to internal and external customers, demonstrating care, concern and helpful attitude and voice projectionWorking knowledge of monitors/transmitters with the ability to trouble shoot with patient/physician staffContributes to a positive work climate as well as problem solving within the companyDemonstrates a high energy and work ethic to achieve overall goals and objectives of the companyDemonstrates willingness, initiative and effectiveness in filling charge nurse dutiesFunctions as Charge as requiredOther Functions:Performs additional duties and functions (essential or otherwise), which may be assigned from time to time.Physical Demands:Computer entry and telephone usage.Position requires some physical exertion such as reaching, bending, standing walking and light lifting no in excess of 30 lbs.Can involve long periods of sitting.Experience and SkillsMinimum Qualifications:Current RN licensure in state of TN. Minimum of two years critical care experience. Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities. Beginning level computer, word processing and typing skills.Special Requirements:This individual will typically work a 3pm-11pm shift but must be willing to work odd hours including some evenings, weekends and holidays. Occasional on-call and occasional work at home assignments.
