Mechanical Assembler
We're looking for a Mechanical Assembler with strong hands-on mechanical experience. This role involves assembling precision components, reading blueprints, following work instructions, and preforming assembly operations.
Pay & Schedule
· 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am – 3:30pm; Friday 6:00am – 12:00pm
· Full-time
· Paid weekly
· Overtime available
· Competitive pay based on experience
What You'll Do
· Assemble basic and complex mechanical components using setup sheets and work instructions
· Install bushings, pins, plugs, helicoils, inserts, and rivets
· Perform part marking using vibro pencil, electro-etch, and dot peen equipment
· Perform pressure testing and complete required documentation per blueprint requirements
· Perform adhesive bonding, roll staking, straightening, and other assembly-related operations
· Read and interpret manufacturing planning, blueprints, sketches, and work instructions
· Enter proper documentation into the manufacturing ERP system
· Help maintain required assembly supplies and materials
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
What We're Looking For
· 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience or equivalent shop training
· Ability to read and understand manufacturing planning, blueprints, and sketches
· Basic knowledge of GD&T
· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
· Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
· Ability to follow written setup sheets and work instructions
· Ability to work independently with limited oversight
· Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 40 lbs. occasionally
Preferred:
· Aerospace manufacturing experience
