Director of Sales

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in B2B sales, and a proven track record in managing complex sales processes. This role requires a combination of management expertise, technical knowledge, and exceptional customer service skills to develop and execute effective sales strategies, foster client relationships, and expand market presence. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals to increase market share and revenue. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets, fostering a high-performance culture. Drive outside sales efforts by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and negotiating contracts. Manage key accounts through effective account management practices, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that support business development initiatives. Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities, analyze data for insights, and forecast future sales performance. Engage in technical sales activities by understanding product specifications and translating them into solutions that meet client needs. Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth. Oversee the onboarding and training of new sales personnel to ensure alignment with company standards and practices. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility. Experience Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or management roles within a B2B environment. Demonstrated success in technology sales, particularly involving complex or technical products/services. Strong background in account management, negotiation, and customer service excellence. Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar tools for pipeline management and analysis. Excellent analysis skills to interpret market data, sales metrics, and customer feedback for strategic decision-making. Leadership experience with the ability to motivate teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive results effectively. Knowledge of marketing principles relevant to supporting sales initiatives is a plus.
