Jewelry Sales and Merchandising Assistant - Excel Proficiency REQ

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 a year, Bonus, 401K Job Type: Full-time A jewelry manufacturer specializing in price-point jewelry for mass market retailers has an excellent opportunity available in wholesale jewelry as a sales and merchandising assistant. Candidate must be extremely detail-oriented and have the ability to manage yourself, including competing deadlines for concurrent projects, and following up with customers and vendors on various projects. The primary responsibilities of this position include: Using Excel to enter product details including materials and labors in order to cost finished jewelry items Creating Product Proposals for customers to see our jewelry line Organizing and managing list of open projects and customer deliverables Required Employee Skills · MS Excel – Experience with VLOOKUP and bulk data management · Familiarity with Cost Roll Ups (Product Costing) Desired Employee Characteristics: Excel literacy – vlookups and data manipulation – REQUIRED Product Experience – mid level – understanding of bills of material and cost roll ups. Self-Motivated Energetic & Ambitious Organized and Detail-Oriented Math Skills – basic understanding without the use of a calculator, ability to manage basic calculations while in conversation without aid.
