We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Medical Assistant at varying levels (I, II, III). The selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level based on qualifications and experience. All levels contribute to patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, with increasing responsibilities at higher levels.Primary Responsibilities:Medical Assistant I:Provide supportive patient care functions under supervisionEnsure patient safety and comfort in accordance with legal and professional standardsPerform delegated tasks as directed by a physician or RNMedical Assistant II:Includes all duties of MA IAdminister injectables and perform advanced clinical tasksRequires additional experience and/or certificationMedical Assistant III:Includes all duties of MA I and IIPerform high-level clinical proceduresServe as a resource for less experienced staffYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant programBLS certification through the American Heart AssociationNo experience required with a certification/registration as a Medical Assistant OR 1+ years of directly related Medical Assistant experience without certification/registrationBasic medical/nursing terminology experienceDemonstrated computer proficiencyPreferred Qualifications:For MA II:Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant5+ years of directly related experienceFor MA III:Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant8+ years of directly related experienceExperience in Ambulatory CareEPIC and Windows-based computer systems experiencePay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment.
