Encompassing systems design, visual strategy, and design practice, DS+P creates the shared foundations, tools, and ways of working that enable teams to build consistent, scalable, and high quality experiences. We re seeking a senior UX Designer with a strong systems mindset someone who thinks in patterns, dependencies, and outcomes, and who can bring clarity and structure to complex, evolving ecosystems. We re a deeply collaborative team, and each member is directly responsible for our success.As our partner footprint expands and workflows decentralize, DS+P is evolving toward a more system led operating model one that supports AI assisted exploration, documentation, and reuse, while maintaining craft, quality, and governance at scale.What you will do.Design, deliver, and mature modern, AI ready system foundations (AXS 3.0) that enable consistency, reuse, and scale across teams.Lead the delivery of the semantic token architecture, including clear, AI readable naming, aligned color/type/spacing tokens, and partner ready exports with minimal disruption to in flight work.Establish and maintain a system architecture that supports early, system accurate prototyping reducing rework by ensuring teams explore within supported patterns from the start.Connect design system assets to implementation through strong design to code alignment, partnering closely with engineering to ensure components, tokens, and documentation stay in sync.Launch and evolve automated documentation across Figma and code surfaces, reducing manual overhead while increasing trust, clarity, and adoption of the system.Create clear usage guidance, system guardrails, and governance patterns that prevent fragmentation while still enabling teams to move quickly.Lead by influence: raise the bar for craft, system thinking, and AI-ready workflows.What we d like to see.10+ years of UX and/or visual product design experience, including significant experience in design systems, component libraries, or scaled pattern ecosystems.Deep expertise designing for reusable systems: tokens, components, patterns, templates, and the governance needed to keep them healthy over time.Strong command of design-to-code collaboration, including comfort working with engineers to validate feasibility, semantics, and implementation alignment.Proficiency with industry standard design and prototyping tools (Figma), including modern workflows that connect design output to engineering consumption.Working knowledge of AI-assisted design workflows, including how to use AI to accelerate exploration while maintaining system accuracy, accessibility, and brand integrity.Experience creating or operationalizing documentation that stays current (automation preferred), with a bias toward clarity, usability, and adoption.A systems approach to design with strong craft judgment (typography, layout, interaction, content patterns) and an instinct for simple, scalable, repeatable.A portfolio of relevant work is required for consideration.A bonus if you have.Experience with semantic token architecture, theming, or multi-brand/multi-template ecosystems.Experience connecting Figma libraries to engineering systems (e.g., Storybook) and/or establishing documentation pipelines.Experience working in highly regulated environments (accessibility, compliance), and designing systems that reduce risk through standardization.Experience supporting marketing web ecosystems, CMS/template-driven builds, or content-heavy page models.Organization.DS+P reports up through a larger user experience group in our Financial Advisor Services (FAS) Digital & Analytics (D&A) department.
