Data Level II
Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Level II professional to support Federal Government's financial operations within the Security Assistance Account domain. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, analytical rigor, and domain knowledge to ensure accurate financial data processing, reconciliation, and traceability across complex, integrated systems.The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Air Force (DAF) financial systems, modern data platforms, and advanced analytics tools, along with the ability to deliver actionable insights in a mission-critical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and interpret Air Force financial and feeder system data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.Perform end-to-end transaction traceability (UoT analysis) across multiple systems to validate financial data integrity.Develop and implement data pipelines, automation workflows, and statistical models using Python and SQL.Leverage platforms such as Databricks and BI tools (Power BI, Qlik) to design dashboards and generate actionable insights.Conduct data reconciliation across disparate systems, identifying discrepancies and resolving inconsistencies.Apply expertise in data structures, relational databases, and system logic to support root cause analysis and issue resolution.Collaborate with financial, accounting, and audit stakeholders to support reporting, compliance, and operational objectives.Prepare and present clear, concise technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.Respond effectively to time-sensitive, high-priority requests in a dynamic federal environment.Required QualificationsDoD Secret clearance3–6+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or financial systems support.Demonstrated experience with Air Force (DAF) financial systems and federal accounting data.Strong hands-on proficiency in:Databricks or similar modern data platformsPower BI, Qlik, or equivalent BI/visualization toolsPython and SQL for data processing, automation, and analysisExperience with data mining, statistical analysis, and workflow automation.Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling, system integrations, and data flow architectureProven ability to perform data reconciliation, validation, and traceability analysis.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsDomain expertise in Foreign Military Sales (FMS) / Security Cooperation processes.Experience with audit readiness, remediation activities, and federal compliance standards.Ability to produce audit-ready deliverables, including:Supporting documentation and evidenceReconciliation reportsInternal control artifactsWork Location & ScheduleHybrid work model with 3 days onsite per week at Joint Base Andrews, MDRemaining days remote, subject to program requirements
