Roofing Project Estimator

Thanks for considering a career opportunity at Chamberlin Roofing and Waterproofing.PE-I is the entry level estimator role.The PE-I will be engaged in the entire estimating process with the responsibility of learning each step of the Chamberlin process.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: field observations and inspections, onscreen estimating, proposal writing, detail review, client interactions and association involvement.As the PE-I develops a base knowledge they will be responsible for contract scope verification, client relationship and overall project engagement from start to finish.Experience: If applicant does not have a four-year degree, they must have a minimum of 2 years of college and 2 years Chamberlin experience or five years construction experience and/or professional sales and customer relations experience.Skills: Microsoft office, English speaking, bilingual preferredAbilities/Requirements:Ability to read and understand construction documentsFamiliarity with general construction itemsExceptional written and oral communication skillsProblem solving and dispute resolution skillsStrong work ethic/self-starterNegotiation and relationship building skills (sales ability)Career ambition to move up within ChamberlinMust have a valid driver's licenseMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust be able to climb scaffolding, stairs, ladders (standing, stooping bending, lifting, etc.)Education Required: Four-year college degree or 2 years of college and 2 years Chamberlin experience or five years construction experience and/or professional sales and customer relations experience.Chamberlin Roofing and Waterproofing seeks and values people of all backgrounds because every employee, customer and business partner is important.
