Our entry-level behavioral health tech position offers valuable training and counseling experience for someone looking to further their career in the mental health field.About our Behavioral Health Tech position:Current openings: 2nd shift (3 PM - 11:30 PM).8-hour and 12-hour shift options are available.Care for clients in crisis or involuntary commitments for observation with a 1-2 week stay.Build a therapeutic relationship & maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.Work as a part of a multidisciplinary therapy team, assist in implementing treatment plans, and give feedback to improve the treatment process.Assist in group and individual counseling and daily living requirements, as well as help with directing activities.Gain valuable confidence and experience working one-on-one with a variety of populations.Behavioral Health Tech Requirements:A compassionate approach to working with people struggling with mental illnessRequired: High school diploma or equivalentBachelor's degree in behavioral health services is preferred (Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Human Services, etc.)Some college courses with prior training or experience in mental/behavioral health care will also be consideredValid driver's license with no restrictions and a clean driving record for the last three yearsAvailable to work every other weekendWhat We Offer Our Behavioral Health Tech:Competitive Pay: Starting at $18/hour (10% shift differential for 2nd shift with an additional 10% differential for weekends)Health, Dental, and Vision BenefitsRetirement with a generous matchFT and PT options available19 days of PTO & 7 paid holidaysShort & Long-Term Disability InsuranceLife InsuranceTuition Reimbursement for related college-level courseworkOpportunity to attend training for professional developmentAdvancement opportunities as you further develop your skills and education in the mental health fieldTo ApplyPlease submit your resume via Microsoft Word for consideration for our Behavioral Health Tech position.
