A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required • Work in a very large and busy emergency department with high acuity patients • Maintain 1:4 patient ratio in 59-bed ER averaging 165-175 patients per day • Care for patients from neonates to geriatrics • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS • Must have Epic charting system experience (hard stop requirement) • Scrub color: Navy blue • Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere • Floating rare but may occur within facility/scope of practice as needed • Holiday requirement: work major holidays that fall during assignment period • Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed • RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th) • 24 hours of orientation required • Travel experience required • Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager level or above) • Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract • Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback if not compliant Facility: This healthcare facility operates a large emergency department that is both stroke and STEMI certified, providing comprehensive emergency services for a wide range of medical conditions.
