Senior Software Engineer

Duties:Develop and refine system and software architecture for scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.Create detailed technical designs and documentation to guide development.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in applicable programming languages.Ensure that all software meets established standards and performance expectations.Perform unit, integration, and system testing.Identify and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks.Manage deployment pipelines and assist with ongoing system maintenance and updates.Provide production support as needed.Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle.Conduct code reviews and promote best practices across the engineering team.Work closely with project managers, QA testers, and product owners to align on priorities and deliverables.Participate in design and planning meetings to ensure alignment with business goals.Enforce coding standards, software design patterns, and modern development methodologies.Translate business needs into technical requirements and specifications.Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for code, APIs, and system processes.Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for project deliverables.Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their potential value to the company.Continuously improve software development processes for efficiency and quality.Contribute to long-term technical strategy and roadmap planning.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Development, Information Technology Architecture or related fieldMinimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in software developmentSalary: Not less than $173,618 per yearHow to Apply: Please send resume to: jobs@gitstel.comPay: $173,618.00 - $225,703.00 per yearWork Location: In person
