Site Reliability Engineer
Job Role: DevOps/SRE EngineerJob Type: Full time/ PermanentLocation : Austin, TXJob Description :You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and automation tooling in a multi-cloud environment spanning AWS and GCP.You will work directly with Platform Engineering, software development, and application teams to enable high-quality software delivery, maintain GitOps-driven deployments, and improve service reliability.The ideal candidate has strong software development skills, is comfortable with Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration, and GitOps workflows, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering rolesStrong experience with Kubernetes and container-based workloads (Docker, Helm)Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar)Experience with GitOps tooling—ArgoCD or FluxCD requiredProficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash, or similar)Understanding of software design principles, software architecture, APIs, and automated testingSolid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release automationExperience with cloud platforms—AWS required; GCP experience a plusPreferred QualificationsExperience with declarative or domain-specific configuration languages like PklHands-on experience with FluxCD managing multi-cluster GitOps deploymentsExperience with observability tooling: Datadog, Grafana, or PrometheusExperience with managed Kubernetes (EKS, GKE)Experience developing internal tools, services, integrations, or platform automationPrior experience in a platform or shared-services engineering team supporting multiple application teamsExposure to multi-cloud infrastructure patterns"Centraprise is an equal opportunity employer.
