Surgical Tech Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,467 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the Position Job Title: Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience required. License: NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician required. Certifications: BLS Certification (American Heart Association only) required. Must-Have: - NBSTSA Tech License or 10 years of experience. - BLS Certification (American Heart Association only). - Two (2) years of experience minimum. - Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma setting is highly desired. - Ability to scrub is required. Description: The Surgical Tech will be responsible for assisting in the operating room. The OR cares for a wide variety of patients. Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. There are multiple surgical robots utilized by various services. Surgical specialties involve complex procedures including organ transplants. Candidates must possess strong skills and experience in the operating room setting. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
