AWS Security Engineer/Security EngineerLocation: Irvine, CADuration: Full TimeJob Description:• 5–10 years of experience in cloud security engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.• Proficiency in AWS security services (e.g., GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, KMS, CloudTrail).• Hands-on experience with CSPM platforms and cloud compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST, ISO).• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Terraform) for automation and remediation.• Familiarity with container security (EKS, ECS) and serverless security best practices.• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP, CCSP) are a plus.Preferred Skills:• Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP) is a bonus.• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and cloud-native security controls.• Strong communication and documentation skills.Roles & Responsibilities:• Design and implement secure configurations for AWS services (e.g., IAM, S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, etc.).• Deploy and manage CSPM tools to monitor and remediate misconfigurations.• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and automation scripts.• Monitor cloud environments for vulnerabilities, compliance drift, and anomalous activity.
