RESPONSIBILITIES OF A CHILD WATCH ATTENDANT:Lead children through fun interactive activates such as arts & crafts, gym games and so much more. Create positive lasting memories for each child, each day. *This is not an exhaustive list of job duties. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned. REQUIREMENTS TO BE A CHILD WATCH ATTENDANT15 years of age or older. Demonstrated ability to provide childcare. 6 months or more work experience preferred. Ability to relate to, supervise, and provide age-appropriate activities to children, ages 1 month to 6 years. Possesses mature judgment and sound decision-making. Ability to communicate effectively with members, peers, and supervisor. Ability to effectively communicate information on YMCA membership and programs. Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
