Work involves preparing and delivering lectures, maintaining appropriate accreditations for all programs; maintaining records of student attendance as required by the Community College System. Maintain documents as needed for enrollment of students. Prepare and submit necessary documentation for continued accreditation.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides EMS initial certification instruction and continuing education coursesReviews all completed clinical and field internship student evaluations and determines when the student has demonstrated competency on each skillComply with NCOEMS and BCC EMS Program requirements in the delivery of EMS educationMust show working knowledge of NCOEMS program requirements and successful skills completionAssists the program director and lead instructor/faculty with ensuring that all required materials, equipment and supplies are available for studentsStart and end classes on time, per individual contractsMinimum Qualifications High School Diploma with 3 years EMS experienceExperience Teaching AdultsValid NC driver licenseCurrent NC Credential at EMT as defined by the NC Medical Care CommissionAbility to communicate with all levels of staff, faculty, subordinates, students, and the public in the performance of the jobBCC is an Equal Opportunity EmployerThis position is not eligible for benefits.01Do you have at least three years of EMS experience?
