You were an experienced software engineer before becoming a manager.A "move fast, take action" mentality. We have a very successful product and our customers have high expectations for their mail quality. Meeting their expectations sometimes requires us to quickly adapt and learn and implement new technologies.Experience leading teams of engineers on technical projects. We'll want to hear how your teammates developed and grew under your leadership.Deep knowledge of at least one mainstream programming language, including being able to write, read, and understand code in that language. We primarily use Node.js and Go at Lob.Experience with modern practices related to testing, QA, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and service ownershipOwnership of mission critical services, and working with teams responsible for on-call rotations supporting production customer workloads.Great communication skills. You should be able to explain your approach and the impact of your work to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a way that is clear to all.Experience building technology in the supply-chain / logistics industry is a plus.Compensation informationBase: $195,000 - $225,000 + RSU
