Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)Since 1995, the mental health specialists at Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center have provided effective, compassionate behavioral health care to children, adolescents and adults. Our experienced team includes board-certified psychiatrists, licensed psychologists and other professionals specially trained to diagnose, treat and manage behavioral health conditions.Position Description:We are looking for Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our Team!Nulton Diagnostic & Treatment Center is accepting applications for a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to work within our collaborative model to provide quality care for our clients. This role would involve working two days a week in Clarion and three days a week in DuBois offices.Principal Responsibilities of the Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner will include:1. Obtain, evaluate and record mental health histories2. Perform mental health assessments3. Order necessary testing (labs, EKG) for routine and acute mental health care4. Analyze and interpret data to establish appropriate treatment planning5. Initiate necessary referrals/consults to specialists and other health professionals/services6. Educate individuals regarding mental health related matters including treatments, medications, diet and other issues as required7. Provide management for acute and chronic mental illness under the direction of the supervising physician8. Prescribe necessary mediations, as authorized by law and with the limits of the written Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner agreement, to remit/resolve patient mental health problems/symptoms9. Provide services to pediatric, adult and geriatric patients10. Adhere to supervision requirement as governed by a written CRNP supervision agreementEducation, Qualifications, Experience, Skills, and Training:(a) The CRNP will possess a valid license issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and will maintain all requirements for licensure(b) CRNP must have the psych certification, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (PMHNP-BC).(c) The CRNP will not be on the Medicare/Medicaid exclusionary list(d) Must possess an active DEA number(e) Minimum of 1 year experience in outpatient psychiatric services(f) Pass all required background checks(g) Must have the ability to work in a team environment(h) Must have strong verbal and written communication skillsCandidate must be able to obtain Act 33, Act 34, Act 114 clearances.This is a full-time position.Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center is committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity.
