Invest yourself in the alternative, and join an organization where you progress on merit, where you can speak openly with whoever you are speaking to, and where you will be supported along whichever path you choose to take.Find out more about life at Alter Domus at careers.alterdomus.comSenior Fund Accountant - Real EstateLocation: Carmel, INAlter Domus is currently seeking a new Senior Fund Accountant to join our Fund Administration team at our Carmel, IN office.Job DescriptionSupervise, mentor, and train a team of Associate and Fund AccountantsDevelop leadership skills by demonstrating a willingness to lead projects and offer inputRespond to auditor queriesCommunicate and interact with property manager(s) and client(s)Prepare/review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for clients, including financial information, performance returns, property operations, and variance analysisCalculate and review various performance returns and provide comparisons to benchmarksReview property budgets and help prepare the fund/account’s annual budget and business planDetermine appropriate cash distributions considering property objectives and fund/account strategic plansPrepare, review, analyze, and interpret accounting records, financial statements, footnotes, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standardsReview documents to ensure compliance with IM and JV agreements.
