This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial results across multiple locations, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting management with timely financial analysis. The role will utilize QuickBooks Enterprise, Bill.com, and Expensify to manage accounting operations, accounts payable workflows, and expense reporting, while partnering closely with plant leadership, operations, and corporate finance.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Close & ReportingLead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities using QuickBooks EnterprisePrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesEnsure proper cut-off, accruals, and GAAP compliance in a manufacturing environmentPrepare consolidated financial statements for a three-plant structure, including eliminations and intercompany activityDevelop and maintain financial reporting packages for managementConsolidations & Intercompany AccountingManage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations across all plant locationsEnsure consistent accounting policies and chart-of-accounts usage across entitiesSupport consolidation schedules, roll-forwards, and variance analysisCoordinate entity-level reporting within QuickBooks EnterpriseAccounts Payable, Expenses & Cash ControlsOversee accounts payable workflows using Bill.com, including approvals, vendor management, and payment processingReview and reconcile AP activity between Bill.com and QuickBooks EnterpriseAdminister and review employee expense reports using Expensify, ensuring policy compliance and timely reimbursementSupport cash disbursement controls and vendor payment accuracyCost & Manufacturing AccountingSupport inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goodsReview standard costing, inventory reserves, scrap, and production variancesPartner with plant operations to understand production activity and cost driversAssist with physical inventory counts and cycle count processesInternal Controls & ComplianceMaintain and improve internal controls across accounting, AP, and expense processesSupport external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requestsEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting standardsAnalysis & Business SupportAnalyze financial results and explain variances versus budget and forecastSupport budgeting and forecasting across multiple manufacturing locationsIdentify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system optimizationAssist with special projects, system enhancements, and ad-hoc financial analysisRequiredQualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturingHands-on experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidationsStrong understanding of GAAP and manufacturing cost accountingDirect experience with QuickBooks EnterpriseExperience using Bill.com for accounts payable and Expensify for expense managementAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations, analysis)PreferredCPA or CMA designationExperience supporting multiple plants or locationsInventory-intensive or capital-intensive manufacturing backgroundExperience improving or scaling accounting systems and workflowsKey CompetenciesHigh attention to detail and ownership of financial accuracyAbility to manage multiple deadlines across locationsStrong communication with finance and operations teamsAnalytical mindset with a continuous-improvement approachComfortable working hands-on in both transactional and strategic workWhy Bolder Industries?We offer a competitive benefits package designed to support your personal and professional growth:Career Growth: Training and development programsEmployee Recognition: Real-time appreciation with personalized rewardsTime Off: Generous PTO and paid sick leaveComprehensive Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision for employees and familiesSecurity: Short-term/long-term disability and life insurance at no cost to employeeRetirement: 401(k) participationOur Commitment to InclusionBolder Industries is an equal opportunity employer.
