Job DescriptionMEP SuperintendentLocation: Reno, NV (Local or Willing to Relocate Required)Salary: $150,000 – $200,000+ annually (DOE) Our client, a leading Commercial General Contractor, is seeking a highly experienced MEP Superintendent to support a major project in Northern Nevada. This role is critical to the successful execution of complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across large-scale commercial construction projects.The ideal candidate will bring strong field leadership, deep MEP coordination experience, and a proven track record on large-scale or hospitality-driven projects.Arena, large-scale, or hospitality project experience is highly preferred.ResponsibilitiesManage and direct all MEP-related job site activities from preconstruction through project completionOversee and coordinate all MEP subcontractors to ensure alignment with project schedule, safety standards, and quality expectationsLead daily coordination with foremen, trades, and project teams to ensure proper sequencing and productionWork closely with Project Managers and design teams to resolve conflicts, RFIs, and coordination issuesEnsure all MEP systems are installed per plans, specifications, and code requirementsDrive project schedule related to MEP scopes and proactively mitigate delaysConduct and lead MEP coordination meetings and participate in overall subcontractor meetingsMonitor and enforce safety compliance across all MEP tradesTrack progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain schedule and budgetSupport commissioning, inspections, and final turnover of all MEP systemsAssist with project closeout, punch lists, and final documentationMaintain strong communication with owners, inspectors, and stakeholdersQualificationsMinimum 5+ years of experience as an MEP Superintendent or similar role with a Commercial General ContractorStrong experience managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes on large-scale commercial projectsExperience with arena, large hospitality, or complex multi-system projects highly preferredProven ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage high-volume subcontractor activityStrong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and MEP systems integrationExperience with Procore or similar construction management software preferredAbility to lead large teams and maintain accountability across multiple tradesStrong communication and problem-solving skillsLocation RequirementThis position is based in Reno, Nevada.Candidates must be local or willing to relocate.Limited per diem may be considered for highly qualified candidates.CompensationSalary range is $150,000 – $200,000+ annually, depending on experience.Our client is committed to hiring top-tier talent and is open to discussing compensation above the listed range for candidates who bring exceptional experience and project expertise.Company OverviewOur client is a well-established, relationship-driven commercial general contractor with a strong presence across the Southwest.
