Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - OR Inpatient Job Details: • Work day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, 3 days per week • Schedule primarily Monday through Friday with possible weekends for call shifts • 30-minute call back requirement with on-call per unit rotation • Perform nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Provide relationship-based patient centered care consistent with population specific characteristics • Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and timely documentation • Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education • Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff • Participate in evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement activities • Associates, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required (Bachelor's preferred) • Georgia RN license or multi-state compact license required • BLS certification required upon hire • Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school • Direct patient care experience preferred • Must possess strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills • Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively • Excellent time management and critical thinking skills required Facility: This healthcare facility operates as part of a comprehensive health system that emphasizes evidence-based practice and research-driven patient care.
