This role leads and supports projects at all levels of the organization, and a successful candidate should be comfortable tailoring content to meet the needs of a widevariety of stakeholders. This role requires a self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build, assess, modify, and maintain complex data manipulation models, scripts, and processes. The Analytics Consultant will need to be a creative thinker with a strong bias toward action and the ability to collaborate cross functionally.What You Will DoLeads automation and analytical projects, collaborating across functional areas, including, but not limited to, Store Operations and Technology teams. Projects may include data management, extraction, technology strategy, data solutions creation, data sourcing, architecture, standards development and governance, privacy, and process developmentLeads complex projects that ensure scheduling, workforce analytics, labor scheduling and labor allocation are optimized to meet Lowe’s long-term goalsCollaborates cross-functionally on financial planning and/or technology solutions to provide insight into the best utilization of business resources. Facilitates large scale, enterprise initiatives with Operations, HR, Data Science, Finance, and other functional areasDelivers in-depth analysis of labor allocation, including the use of complex statistical models, engineered labor standards, and field operations input to develop recommendations for executive leadershipUnderstands and can clearly communicate business functions, processes and overall business strategiesMaintains expert-level knowledge on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new methodologies and applies it to projects as well as using it to guide team membersRecommends areas of opportunity for expense control and labor optimization to inform workforce management decisions made by business leaders in various functions. Full accountability forecasting expense related to operating salaries for storesCreates predictive and prescriptive models to help identify opportunities within the labor allocation processRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED or equivalent experienceBachelor’s degree Operations Engineering, Data Science, Business Analysis, or a related field or equivalent experience4 Years of Experience related to workforce planning, data science, or data modeling3 Years of Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, or comparable product (e.g. Google Sheets, Slides, etc.)3 Years of Experience working in an analytical role3 Years of Experience using business intelligence and reporting tools (MicroStrategy, TM1, Hyperion/Essbase, Business Objects, Cognos, Teradata, etc.)2 Years of Experience using SQL to query and combine data from multiple sources2 Years of Experience using business analysis and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, etc.) to perform analysis2 Years of Experience using Python, R, Java, or comparable Object-Oriented programming languagePreferred Skills/EducationMaster’s degree Operations Engineering, Data Science, Business Analysis, or a related field or equivalent experience1 Year of Experience working on Agile project management teamsAbout Lowe’sLowe’s Companies, Inc.
