IT Service Desk Technician II

IT Service Desk Technician II AAC is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician II in Cornelius, NC for their reputable banking client. This position will primarily perform Service Desk duties with the strong potential of performing field technician duties across the Charlotte and Hickory areas. There will be up to 20% travel expected for this position. Mileage will be reimbursed. This role is slated as a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with expectations of converting as an FTE. This role is on-site M-F. JOB FUNCTIONS Add/Delete users on all appropriate network systems, and test operation of systems Analyze Level II problems and take appropriate action to resolve or escalate problems Take overflow incoming calls from branch locations Report regularly to supervisor any critical, outstanding or unresolved problems Administer Employee Purchase Program Branch visits as needed within travel scope Other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High school diploma required; college/technical training preferred 2-3 years experience between Service Desk and Field Technician work Ability to troubleshoot technical issues over the phone and deskside PC, networking, and technical skills Experience with Active Directory Effective communicator Problem solving skills Exceptional telephone etiquette & professional personality Ability to work in a group environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
