You are a seasoned, detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in air freight, compliance, and team leadership. You thrive in a high-pressure, customer-focused environment, guiding your team and collaborating across departments to ensure seamless, compliant, and cost-effective air shipments worldwide.You are a strong communicator, adaptable to diverse cultural and linguistic environments, and committed to mentoring less experienced team members.Requirements3+ years of Air Export experience (Ocean experience is a plus, but air is primary)CargoWise experience preferredIATA Certification strongly preferredProven experience handling complex international air cargo shipments from start to finish (A–Z)Expert knowledge of international air export regulations and documentationStrong customer service orientation with excellent communication skillsAbility to prioritize, problem-solve, and make critical decisions under pressureExperience managing relationships with carriers, vendors, and agentsOn-site work required in either Baltimore, MD or Los Angeles, CAThis role does not provide visa sponsorship or relocation assistanceWhat You Will Do…As a Air Exports Specialist, you ensure the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of international air freight from booking through delivery. You will take ownership of complex shipments, lead process improvements, mentor junior staff, and act as a primary point of contact for high-value clients and key accounts.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee air export shipments from booking to delivery, ensuring timeliness and complianceServe as the subject matter expert for international air export documentation, including AES filings, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and DG shipmentsLead carrier bookings, rate negotiations, and contract approvalsCoordinate with domestic and international agents to ensure smooth operations and compliance with all regulationsProactively track cargo, update clients, and resolve operational issuesReview, audit, and improve export processes to enhance efficiency and accuracyProvide mentorship and guidance to junior export staffPrepare and present export reports, shipment statistics, and performance metrics to managementEnsure all shipments adhere to Priority Worldwide's standards and corporate environmental initiativesWhat We Offer…Individual compensation packages are based on experience, qualifications, and skill set.Salary: $65,000–$75,000 annually (depending on experience)Comprehensive Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision)5 Work from Home days per month2 Weeks Paid Time Off and 5 Personal Days3 Days of Paid Volunteer Time529E College Savings ProgramRetirement Plan$20,000 Term Life Insurance PlanMental Health PlanIdentity Theft Protection PlanPriority Worldwide is an equal opportunity employer.
