This is a highly specialized role focused on building accurate, competitive air and ocean freight quotes for a wide range of international shipments—including complex commercial and government/defense logistics.This is not a general logistics or customer service role. Success requires a strong background in freight forwarding pricing, a deep understanding of global shipping practices, and the ability to deliver precise quotes under tight deadlines.What You'll DoBuild accurate and competitive air & ocean freight quotesDevelop customized pricing solutions for commercial and government/defense shipmentsSource and negotiate rates directly with carriers, agents, and vendorsAnalyze routing, transit times, equipment, and compliance requirementsManage quotes within strict deadlines with a high level of accuracyUtilize CargoWise for quoting and rate analysisPartner with sales and operations to convert quotes into shipmentsMaintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and clientsWhat You BringProven experience in international freight forwarding pricing/quoting (air & ocean)—requiredExperience with government/defense freight strongly preferredStrong knowledge of global logistics and transportation modesConfidence negotiating rates with carriers and vendorsExcellent organization and communication skillsCargoWise experience preferredComfortable working with technology and AI-assisted tools for quoting, pricing, or workflow efficiencyMust be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available for this roleCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $60,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)Medical, Dental, Vision coverage5 work-from-home days per month2 weeks vacation + 5 personal days3 paid volunteer daysQuarterly bonus opportunity529E College Savings ProgramPriority Worldwide is an equal opportunity employer.
