Sales Manager - Latin America

Stiebel Eltron, a global leader in electric tankless water heating and energy-efficient home comfort solutions, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager for Latin America to accelerate our growth across the region. This role will lead sales strategy, channel development, and key account management in major markets throughout LATAM.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute country-specific go-to-market strategies for key markets across Latin America, adapting to channel dynamics, regulations, and competitive landscapes.Drive sales growth with wholesale distributors, retailers, and independent rep agencies.Manage key accounts including major home improvement retailers (e.g., Home Depot, EPA, Sodimac Homecenter) and regional distributors.Establish pricing strategies, recommend adjustments, and manage margin performance by country, channel, and product line.Track and analyze profitability, sell-through data, rebates, freight allowances, and promotional performance.Build and maintain accurate CRM pipelines; ensure high-quality forecasting, data accuracy, and activity tracking.Negotiate commercial terms including volume rebates, discounts, program allowances, and annual agreements.Develop product presentations, training sessions, and technical explanations for customers, reps, and retail staff.Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics, Technical Support) to support channel initiatives and regional product launches.Identify new distributor opportunities and open new markets in Central and South America.Monitor tariffs, import requirements, and regulatory needs for LATAM markets.Travel throughout the region to visit customers, conduct product training, support events, and build long-term partnerships.QualificationsBachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred; Marketing background is a plus but not required).Bilingual Spanish–English required (written and spoken).Portuguese proficiency is a strong plus, but not required.3–7+ years of sales experience in Latin America markets.Experience selling home improvement or durable goods—preferably plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or home comfort products.Experience working with large home improvement retail chains (Home Depot, EPA, Sodimac Homecenter, or similar).Proven background in export markets, distributor management, and retail/wholesale channel strategy.Strong knowledge of pricing strategy, margin management, and profitability analysis.Demonstrated negotiation skills with distributors, retailers, and rep agencies.Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics, etc.).Ability to translate technical product features into customer value; technical aptitude for plumbing, electrical, or water-heating systems is a plus.Marketing knowledge (digital, retail programs, co-op campaigns) is preferred.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally.Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout Latin America.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Position is based in South Florida.Why Join Stiebel Eltron?Work for the world’s largest manufacturer of electric tankless water heating and a major player in green-technology heating products.Join a fast-growing team with strong leadership and a clear vision for LATAM expansion.Competitive compensation, performance bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity to shape the future of the brand across an entire region.
