Welcome to Metronet, where we don't just build networks; we build communities.Procurement SpecialistAs a Procurement Specialist, you will help keep critical capital projects moving. Working closely with Supply Chain Analysts, you will support procurement activities and inventory replenishment across our footprint. You'll also act as the primary liaison for vendors, managing purchase orders and coordinating deliveries to keep operations running smoothly.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Review and submission of purchase requisitions for approvalExecution of inventory replenishments programsPurchase order issuance to vendorsMaintaining purchase order details in the ERP systemProactively follow up with vendors regarding purchase orders deliveryEscalating vendor performance concerns to the appropriatelyAct as a liaison with internal business units (Outside Plant, Network Operations, Field Operations, etc.) to compile information regarding production status and short-term material needsSupport the disposition of obsolete materialIdentify and implement improvements to processes and proceduresJOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree, supply chain or business administration preferredExperience with Oracle E-Business Suite, preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)Willingness to work as a team and independently.Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:Interpersonal skills and ability to work well with othersExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAnalytical problem-solving skillsJoin us and find out what it means to love your career!At Metronet, we are committed to delivering cutting-edge technology combined with exceptional customer care.
