1st Shift Process Control Operator
Fiberstar Inc. is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Process Control Operator to join our Processing team. This hands-on role is responsible for operating and monitoring processing equipment, maintaining product quality, troubleshooting process issues, and supporting sanitation and food safety requirements.

*What You'll Do*
As a Process Control Operator, you will:
* Operate, monitor, and adjust processing equipment to maintain product quality and process specifications.
* Perform proper equipment start-up and shut-down procedures to support safe and efficient operations.
* Monitor equipment performance and identify potential mechanical or process issues before they lead to downtime.
* Communicate equipment concerns and product quality issues with mechanics, laboratory personnel, and other team members.
* Make process adjustments as needed to keep products within established specifications.
* Accurately complete process, quality, sanitation, and cleaning documentation.
* Perform equipment cleaning and sanitation procedures using both manual and process control functions.
* Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP requirements, OSHA regulations, and company safety procedures.
* Communicate important information regarding equipment, process controls, and quality concerns during shift changes.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
* Learn and perform additional duties related to food safety and plant operations as needed.
*What We're Looking For*
The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
*Qualifications include:*
* High school diploma or GED preferred.
* Previous manufacturing, food production, processing, or equipment operation experience is preferred, but training may be provided.
* Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify and communicate equipment concerns.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
* Comfortable completing production, quality, sanitation, and process documentation.
* Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and decimals.
* Forklift certification is a plus, but not required.
* Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing production needs.
*Physical & Work Environment*
This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing and processing environment. The successful candidate must be able to:
* Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
* Stand, walk, climb, balance, bend, kneel, crouch, and perform other physical activities throughout the shift.
* Work around moving mechanical equipment.
* Work in wet, humid, hot, and occasionally dusty environments.
* Work safely around cleaning and sanitation chemicals.
* Work in an environment where noise levels may be loud.
