Senior Business Analyst – Finance (D365 F&O)We’re partnering with a growing organization seeking a Senior Business Analyst – Finance to support and optimize financial systems within a dynamic, multi-entity environment.This role acts as the key liaison between Finance/Accounting and IT, driving improvements across business processes using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).This is a strong opportunity for a candidate who thrives in financial systems optimization, stakeholder collaboration, and end-to-end project delivery.What You’ll DoBusiness Analysis & Stakeholder EngagementPartner with Finance and Accounting teams to understand current processes, pain points, and future-state needsServe as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical teamsLead requirements workshops across multiple business unitsD365 Finance & Systems SupportProvide day-to-day functional support across D365 Finance modules including:General Ledger (GL)Accounts Payable (AP)Accounts Receivable (AR)Fixed AssetsCash & BankBudgeting and Project AccountingConfigure system modules aligned to approved requirementsRecommend system enhancements, automation opportunities, and best practicesDelivery, Testing & OptimizationTranslate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteriaDevelop test scripts, coordinate UAT, and validate system enhancementsSupport data validation, migration activities, and release readinessDocument workflows, system configurations, and process changes clearlyProject Ownership & Continuous ImprovementManage projects end-to-end, including scope, delivery, and deploymentIdentify opportunities to improve system usability, efficiency, and accuracyTroubleshoot issues and collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendorsSupport ongoing system enhancements and process optimization initiativesWhat We’re Looking ForMust-Have ExperienceStrong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)Expertise across core finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.)Experience conducting UAT, test scripting, and system validationAbility to translate business requirements into technical specificationsProven experience managing projects from requirements through deploymentStrong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsBackground in Accounting, Finance, or Information SystemsExperience with cost accounting and project accountingExposure to tools such as:Treasury AutomationAP AutomationFastpathPower BI / financial reporting toolsProfessional certifications (CPA or relevant technical certifications) are a plusWhy This Role Stands OutHigh-visibility role bridging Finance and ITOpportunity to drive system improvements and automation at scaleStrong cross-functional collaboration with business and technical teamsFlexible Work ExpectationsAbility to support business needs outside standard hours when required (occasional evenings/weekends)“Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits,EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
