Full-Time Paralegal for Estate Planning Law FirmJob Brief:We are a growing, family-oriented estate planning, probate, and elder law firm. We are looking for a friendly, intelligent, task-oriented, teachable, and well-rounded individual to ensure the continued smooth running of the office and effective client management. You will provide a broad range of administrative and client services under the supervision of an attorney.This is a salaried position with 401k plan and potential for bonuses.This position may split time between our Monroe office and our Weddington office. Specific experience is secondary to finding someone with the skills and personality we're looking for and the willingness to work hard to help build our practice. Previous experience in financial services, trust management, digital marketing, social media management, graphic design, or community outreach would be a bonus and should be noted in your cover letter if applicable. Responsibilities Include:Providing administrative support to an attorney and maintaining/enhancing office effectivenessHandling communication with clients and prospective clientsScheduling and maintaining calendarsProducing, printing, mailing, filing, etc. various documents relating to clients, prospective clients, and estate plansDrafting, reviewing, and editing estate plan documentsConducting Estate Plan Signing MeetingsCoordinating Trust Funding and Estate Inventory ProcessesRegular Visits to Estates Clerk and Register of DeedsAnswering phone calls, providing information, and taking notes/messagesMaintaining and updating contact details and client correspondenceMonitoring and meeting deadlinesConducting community outreachWriting weekly content updates for our website (guidance will be provided) Requirements:ReliabilityKind and pleasant demeanorExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to juggle multiple tasksExcellent Attention to Detail (very important)Computer literacy including Microsoft Word and basic ExcelWillingness/ability to learn and use client management softwareWillingness/ability to quickly learn and understand existing day-to-day operationsNotary Public Preferred ( Clean Background Check to Qualify to Become a Notary Required)Strong command of English language and grammar for proofreading legal documents Bonus Skills:·WealthDocx/WealthTracx·Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop· HTML and CSS· Social Media Fluency· Basic understanding of different types of investment and retirement accounts· Quickbooks· Infusionsoft/Keap
