- Develop sensor and actuator plant model architectures using MATLAB Simulink or other virtual modeling tools.
- Establish interface standards for VHiL, HiL, SiL, and co-simulation environments.
- Define and execute test cases based on customer requirements and model development.
- Lead device data acquisition and characterization of performance and diagnostic responses.
- Manage model change control, enhancements, releases, documentation, and technical support.
- Define virtualization requirements for modeling, suppliers, hardware, and controls teams.
- Coordinate with hardware, software, controls, calibration, and supplier teams.
- Support model fidelity decisions and balance in-house and supplier-based modeling solutions.
- Analyze vehicle calibration variations and incorporate them into robust model designs.
*Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and circuit diagrams.
- Understanding of sensor/actuator wiring and controller interfaces.
- Familiarity with DOORS and interface requirements such as ICD, CTS, and CTR.
- Working knowledge of MATLAB Simulink and model development.
