Key ResponsibilitiesDrive fundraising across the full Real Estate product suite, focused on a specific region/territory of advisors or firms under their coverage.
Deeply understand the factors that drive wealth sales, especially tax, yield, and liquidity implications.
Distribute DST/1031 solutions to clients, drawing on deep knowledge and experience.
Develop and execute sales plans to increase revenue and market share within assigned firms or institutions.
Position the suite of Real Estate strategies in a highly commercial and impactful manner with financial advisors in the coverage region or territory.
Penetrate specific target opportunities within the region to capitalize on the strengths and differentiation of Real Estate offerings and to execute sales campaigns.
Collaborate closely with internal partners across the firm to cultivate a deep understanding of the investment approach and results, representing all facets of the firm’s products internally and externally.
Develop and deliver investment, market, and business communications to existing and prospective clients in one‑on‑one, small group, and large audience presentations.
Provide updates on overall financial markets performance, economic trends, and the overall investment outlook.
Act as a spokesperson for the investment team, presenting a deep understanding of the investment process, market outlook, and advocacy for the services.
Utilize expense budgets to set limits and maximize sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
Maintain sales call data in appropriate systems and/or complete sales reports.
Keep abreast of current and emerging developments/trends for assigned areas, assess impacts, and collaborate with management to incorporate new trends and solutions.
Work closely with other internal departments—Marketing, Product Management, CPMs, etc.—to ensure impactful marketing materials reach prospects and clients.
Travel significantly, with an expectation of 80% of the time on the road.
Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum 10 years working in financial services with prior experience serving in a private wealth distribution role.
Proficiency and track record in successful Real Estate sales, including Private REITs, Interval Funds, DSTs, and closed‑end drawdown Real Estate offerings.
Significant relationships with high‑value advisors in the RIA and IBD channels in the given territory and a proven track record of raising assets.
Demonstrated ability and commitment to a team‑focused approach to achieving individual, group, and business goals.
Sales and relationship‑building acumen, with the ability to influence advisor decisions at point of sale.
Execution from the sales process and business plan.
Deep knowledge of economics and capital markets, including global macro and marketing topics, paired with strong investment acumen.
Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers clearly and concisely.
Effective interaction and communication with all levels of staff and management.
Demonstrated experience maintaining a calm and professional demeanor when handling demanding situations, such as prioritizing multiple tasks with critical target dates and dealing with demanding customers.
Ability to cite examples of identifying complex problems, quantifying them, and providing resolutions.
Demonstrated strong results orientation and examples of such orientation.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a finance‑related field.
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
Working knowledge of database and web‑based applications, with priority to tools used for wealth sales.
FINRA Series 7 and 66 Licenses required (Series 24 may also be required).
Preference for investment industry designations such as CFA, CIMA, CFP, or CAIA.
Compensation DetailsThe anticipated salary range is $240,000 to $340,000 per year. Successful candidates will also be eligible for an annual performance‑based discretionary bonus. Pay may vary based on experience and qualifications.
