PostgreSQL Database Administrator Only W2

Minimum of 10 years of strong and relevant experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator, specifically for large scale applications. Extensive experience with AWS RDS Postgres, including setup, configuration, and management. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, configuration, and administration. Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience developing and reviewing complex PL/pgSQL functions, procedures, and other database objects. Extensive experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques. Proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL programming. Familiarity with database security best practices. Experience with backup and recovery strategies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility in working hours to support global teams and critical database operations. Must have experience in production system monitoring and incident management processes. Must provide after-hours on-call support. Experience in designing database schemas, access patterns, and locking strategies. Experience in conducting performance analysis and capacity planning.
