Software developer( JAVA) ONSITE

Software Developer 2Texas Parks and Wildlife Department requires the services of 1 Software Developer 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate, who meets the general qualifications of Software Developer 2, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate.The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of 1 Programmer/Developer, hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualifications of a Software Developer 2 Level and Core Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Worker will be responsible for coding and testing of Java applications using Spring and JSF frameworks, Hibernate, Java web services, Tomcat application server and Oracle database on a team of 2 to 4 members.This full stack worker may assist in converting applications developed in legacy frameworks to Spring. The worker will also assist the team on new project initiatives as well as maintenance of existing applications. Worker will work under the direction of project lead or work independently and may assist in architecting and designing, researching, and prototyping, load testing, code quality checking, application security and other technical needs as required. This contract may be extended based on funding availability and needs. Please note that JSF and Spring experience is required for this position.
