Assistant Director Of Stewardship And Events The Assistant Director of Stewardship and Events plays a key role in the planning, coordination, and execution of advancement-related events and donor stewardship initiatives at the University of Tampa. This position is responsible for managing a robust calendar of events that support fundraising, donor cultivation and stewardship, and institutional priorities, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality, detail-oriented experiences. Working closely with the Senior Director, this role supports the implementation of stewardship strategies that ensure donors are appropriately recognized, engaged, and informed about the impact of their philanthropy. The Assistant Director collaborates across campus and with advancement colleagues to ensure seamless execution of events and consistent, meaningful donor engagement touchpoints. Key responsibilities include: Events planning and execution Stewardship and donor relations Collaboration and coordination Data management and reporting Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree required. Two to four years of experience in event planning, donor relations, advancement, or a related field. Demonstrated experience managing complex events with multiple stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for events. Experience with CRM systems and event management tools preferred.
