Legal Administrative Assistant

Role Description This is an on-site, full-time role based in White Plains, NY. The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide critical administrative and operational support to attorneys by managing legal documents, coordinating schedules, and assisting with client management and file maintenance. Additional responsibilities include preparing and organizing legal documents, maintaining accurate records, facilitating client communication, assisting in digital marketing efforts (social media content generation) and performing other clerical duties to ensure the efficiency of day-to-day activities in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Proficiency in legal processes, including a strong understanding of Law and Legal Document Preparation; Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and other team members; Administrative Assistance and Organization Skills, including calendar management and document filing (experience in a law firm is strongly preferred); Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively; Proficiency in legal software (Clio) and office applications such as Microsoft Office Suite; Prior experience in family law is preferred; Bachelors degree is required. Responsibilities Calendar coordination and management; Interactions and coordination with the courts, opposing counsels, and clients; Daily office management (email inbox management; file maintenance; inventory management; phone call triaging); Client management; Electronic filing of legal documents via NYSCEF & EDDS; Welcoming guests into the office and starting virtual calls.
