Supply Chain - Project Management ProfessionalAbout the RoleA Project Management professional will serve as the interface between the Supply Chain Management department and Program Office and program teams to identify and release material requirements and provide program/contract support for aftermarket, production, and engineering.Position Title: Supply Chain - Project Management ProfessionalLocation: Sterling Heights, MI, United StatesJob Type: Full-TimeRemote Work Options: HybridBenefitsHealthcare including medical, dental, vision, HSA and Flex Spending (no waiting period)Competitive base pay, incentive pay, and comprehensive benefits401k Match (6%) day one, no vestingEducational assistance9‐80 Work Schedule (standard nine‐hour days Monday‐Thursday with every other Friday off)Ongoing learning opportunitiesOn‐site cafeteria and fitness center with outdoor fitness trackResponsibilitiesSupport Integrated Product Development teams.Oracle MRP independent and dependent demand planning and analysis (Master Scheduling).Support proposal development, build teams, and Process Action Teams representing SCM.Serve as SCM liaison and Project Management representative for all material‐related activities.Interface with internal GDLS teams and external customer teams.Drive early identification of BOM and make/buy decisions; perform lead‐time setback analysis to guide production prioritization and engineering release.Develop, maintain, and publish status reports for material releases, purchase order placement, and hardware delivery; identify corrective actions and communicate with Program Office, Finance, product teams, and SCM departments.Attend program meetings as SCM representative; participate in Design Reviews, Program Management and status meetings, build meetings, and proposal development and strategy meetings.Chair program briefings with Supply Chain Management to communicate requirements, schedules, and priorities.Prepare meeting agendas and presentations for peers, supervisors, and executive leadership.Represent SCM in proposal development; support pricing exercises and division Operating Plan development.Conduct hardware status reviews with Procurement personnel and management.Chair necessary meetings for SCM personnel to expedite actions.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related business discipline.Advanced degree (MBA or MS) a plus.7+ years of professional work experience, with at least 5 in Supply Chain, Product Development, Manufacturing, Project Engineering, Program Management, Program Finance, or field‐sustained in‐service products.Project Management experience (PMP or equivalent) a plus.Compliance with DoD‐certified business systems sought.Strong MRP/ERP planning skills.Proficiency in Cognos Enterprise Reporting a plus.Excellent oral and written communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize engineering releases based on lead‐time setbacks.Capability to work in fast‐paced, multi‐priority environment with deadlines.Customer interface experience with USG or external suppliers desired.Organizational and time‐management skills.Willingness to maintain on‐site presence at JSMC (Lima, OH) as required.Additional Information / Desired ExperiencePosition may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance; non-US citizens may not be eligible and no sponsorship is offered.Ability to bring continuous improvement methodologies to the role.Flexibility to work occasional evening and/or weekend overtime.Equal Opportunity EmployerGeneral Dynamics Land Systems ("GDLS") is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
