Engineering Manager – Asset Manager
Job Description: Lead the Asset Maintenance and Replacement ProgramNot sure what skills you will need for this opportunity Simply read the full description below to get a complete picture of candidate requirements.Oversee the management of the client's integrated capital asset portfolioEnsure financial integrity in tracking asset replacements and deferred maintenanceCoordinate efforts with Corporate/Platform Engineering support functionsCollaborate with senior leaders to align on data management, policies, and budgetsDevelop and advise management on strategies to manage asset replacement activities and deferred maintenanceEstablish and maintain a standardized asset inventory and condition assessment of all fixed assets across the Client's portfolioOversee maintenance and management of the planning systemDevelop and maintain the control frameworkProvide oversight to facility condition assessmentsProvide financial advice and support to the Asset ChiefsManage organization records, process mapping, and documentation for assetsProvide insights into the life expectancy of all building systems for budget requirementsResponsible for financial reporting consistencyPresent financial reports to Senior LeadershipDevelop and implement policies and procedures for maintenance reportingEnsure compliance with program-related policies and proceduresOversee training requirements for asset survey collectionDrive continuous process and systems improvement of the Asset Maintenance and Replacement ProgramRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, business administration, or a related fieldA minimum of 10 years of experience in asset management, operations or a related field; OR a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the required workKnowledge of facilities management practices and asset management principlesExperience with regulatory compliance and industry standards in maintenance and facilities managementExperience xevrcyc with asset management toolsStrong analytical and data management skills, excellent leadership and team management abilities, and effective communication and collaboration skillsKnowledge of computerized asset tracking/CMMS toolsAbility to travel to client sites as required (approximately 15%)Ability to work remotely and prioritize timeBenefits: health, vision, and dental insuranceflexible spending accountshealth savings accountsretirement savings planslife and disability insurance programspaid and unpaid time away from work
