Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist I - General PharmacyLocation: Beeville, Texas, United StatesRole Overview:The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications, monitoring patient drug therapies, and providing clinical pharmaceutical care to ensure safe and effective treatment outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Operational DutiesReview and dispense medication orders in accordance with physician prescriptions and clinical protocolsMaintain accurate and complete patient medication recordsPrepare and dispense sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical productsEnsure compliance with controlled substance regulationsSupervise pharmacy support staff and ensure operational efficiencyClinical DutiesMonitor drug therapy for safety, interactions, and effectivenessProvide clinical consultation to healthcare providersSupport pharmacokinetics and dosage adjustmentsIdentify and report adverse drug reactionsEducate patients and caregivers on medication usageParticipate in medication safety, quality improvement, and stewardship programsCollaboration & ComplianceWork collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teamsEnsure compliance with regulatory and clinical standardsParticipate in departmental meetings and continuous improvement initiativesQualifications:Education:Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor’s degree in PharmacyExperience:Hospital or clinical pharmacy experience preferredLicenses & Certifications:Active pharmacist license (or eligibility to obtain within 60 days)Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification requiredPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required for pediatric-related responsibilitiesWork Environment:On-site healthcare facilityMay involve exposure to clinical and pharmaceutical materialsAdherence to safety protocols is requiredWork Authorization:Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Equal Opportunity Employer Statement:We are an equal opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive workplace.
