Bakery Prep Associate

The Bakery Prep Associate supports daily bakery operations by preparing, packaging, and stocking baked goods while maintaining Stoltzfus Meats standards for product quality, cleanliness, and customer presentation. This role assists with production tasks, display maintenance, and general bakery organization to ensure the department remains well-stocked and ready to serve customers.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, portion, and package baked goods for retail displayAssist with oven production and daily bakery preparation tasksLabel products accurately and maintain proper product rotationRestock bakery displays throughout the dayMaintain cleanliness and organization of bakery work areasFollow food safety and sanitation proceduresAssist the Bakery Manager and team with daily production needsProvide friendly customer service when assisting with bakery itemsQualificationsFood service, bakery, or production experience helpful but not requiredStrong attention to detail and consistencyAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamDependable with strong attendanceWillingness to learn bakery production processesPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 30 poundsAbility to stand for extended periodsComfortable working in warm and cold environments near ovensAbility to perform repetitive preparation tasksScheduleIdeal candidate would have availability on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
