As theBusiness IntelligenceInnovation Manager,you will championnew solutionsto leverage data,reporting,analytics, and artificial intelligenceto drive business outcomes that align with Securian's Individual Solutions'b usiness strategy.This role works alongside business users to helpthemevaluateAI solutions and support change management.This also includes analysis of the underlying data assets supportingAI& analyticssolutionsand executing data strategy.You will collaborate with data, technology, analytics, and business teams to implement these solutions to allow the organization to effectively manageIndividual Solutionsdata and grow the business.Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Innovation Serve asIndividualSolutions'primary leaderindrivingthe executionand operationalizationof Individual Solutionsdata & analytics strategyincluding Artificial Intelligence, Data Infrastructure, and Analytics in the pursuit of business outcomes.Develop &maintainthe roadmap for the use of allIndividual Solutionsdatainfrastructure& advanced analyticsenhancements, in coordination with eDNA and Enterprise Technology leadership.Identifyand advocate for practical solutions toensureIS datais fit for useandto driveanalyticsresulting in business value, in collaboration with Shared Services Groups.Create and present businessusecases for data, analytics,and AI initiatives while being accountable for measuring the business value delivered through investments in Individual Solutions data and analytics.Educate Securian Financial on Individual Solution'smaturity and needs from a data and analytics perspective.Team Management & Development Lead and mentor a team of Business Intelligence (BI) associates.Oversee the development of complex reports and dashboards that support life andannuitybusiness performanceand drive decision making.Guide the teamto identifynew opportunities for data analysis andapplyadvanced analytics methodologies.Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration within the BI team.Business Stakeholder Engagement Establish a regular forum withIS leaders and key associates toalign ondata and analyticsuse cases, while fostering education that empowers data-driven decision-making and the strategic use of AI to drive business impact.Proactively seek the perspective ofIS leaders to ensure data and analytics issues have beenidentifiedand are appropriately prioritized.Key business point of contact with Shared Service groups throughout the implementation of significant data and analytics projects.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Math,Statistics, ComputerScienceor related fieldExperience working with data & analytics solutions for Financial Services, ideally individuallifeand annuity insuranceExperience in coaching, mentoring, leading and/or work directing othersAbility to develop a strong understanding ofIndividualSolutions operating model.Excellent communication, persuasion, and stakeholder management skillsStrategicexecutorwith attention to detail and a deep understanding of business operationsProvencollaboration withdataprofessionals aswell as businessstakeholders toinform andexecute strategic goalsHasanunderstanding ofcloud computing ecosystems and data analyticsPrior experience with business intelligencetools(e.g.R Shiny, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.)*Internal Securian Financial job title for this position is Reporting & Analytics Mgr.*Securian Financial believes in hybrid work as an integral part of our culture.
