Job Description Job OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant, CNA to join our Assisted Living team. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to caregiving, excellent observational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. This position can also be considered for Lead CNA position. Day Shift, 12 hours shift, every other weekend and rotating holidays ResponsibilitiesAssist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.Maintain accurate medical records and document patient observations.Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, particularly those with mental health or other cognitive impairments.Assist in mobility by helping residents lift or move as needed.Ensure a clean and safe environment for all residents by adhering to health and safety protocols.Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans tailored to individual residents needs.Engage in home care duties when required, providing assistance in a patient's residence.QualificationsPrevious experience in caregiving or senior care is required.Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures related to patient care.Ability to perform patient observation with attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.Physical capability to lift patients and assist with mobility tasks safely.Certification as a Nursing Assistant, CNA is required.Join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing high-quality care for our patients.
