Program Associate
Responsibilities
Adhere to child safety practices create safe and welcoming environments for students.
Teach classes using materials provided from our curriculum
Deliver structured chess lessons to students of various skill levels at local schools across the metroplex.
Facilitate and supervise engaging chess activities during seasonal camps.
Assist in directing tournaments, supervising open-play nights, and supporting events.
Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors, providing clear and friendly information about our programs.
Accurately maintain records of student registrations, attendance, and payments.
Provide outstanding customer service and assist families with program-related inquiries.
Support basic office tasks, including organizing supplies, maintaining inventory, and keeping workspaces neat and organized.
Qualifications
Experience working with school-aged children is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Friendly, customer-focused attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of chess is helpful but not required — training is provided.
High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant coursework or certifications are a bonus.
Hours of Operation:
Tuesday 5pm-9pm
Friday 5pm-10:30pm
Saturday and Sunday 9am-6pm
School Programs Monday - Friday 2:45pm-5pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
