Cloud Architect – Remote Diagnostics & Connected ServicesRole OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to lead the design and modernization of cloud-based remote diagnostics platforms for connected products. This role will define scalable, API-driven architectures, enable seamless cloud-to-device communication, and support advanced diagnostic workflows. You will play a pivotal role in shaping enterprise-grade platforms that integrate vehicles, cloud, and enterprise systems to deliver future-ready remote troubleshooting capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Architecture & ModernizationDefine end-to-end cloud architectures spanning device, cloud, and enterprise systems.Modernize legacy, stateful systems into stateless, API-driven architectures.Establish principles for scalability, modularity, and long-term maintainability.Remote Diagnostics & IntegrationArchitect unified diagnostics ecosystems by integrating enterprise applications.Define integration patterns using REST APIs, event-driven mechanisms, and asynchronous callbacks.Enable orchestration across diagnostics services, analytics platforms, and enterprise backends.Diagnostics Workflow EnablementDesign architectures supporting advanced troubleshooting workflows and automated diagnostics.Ensure non-disruptive evolution of diagnostic capabilities over time.Cloud-to-Device & IoT CommunicationDefine IoT/messaging-based architectures for remote diagnostics initiation, device state sync, and asynchronous command-response flows.Enable scalable onboarding and interaction models for large fleets.Required Skills & Experience12–15+ years in cloud/distributed systems architecture.Proven experience in remote diagnostics, connected systems, or IoT platforms.Expertise in stateless API architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems.Hands-on architecture experience with AWS and/or Azure.Strong communication and architecture storytelling skills.Ability to balance scalability, operational, and technical trade-offs.Experience integrating legacy systems into modern cloud platforms.Preferred SkillsExposure to service-oriented diagnostic architectures.Experience with remote operations or lifecycle support platforms.Familiarity with enterprise aftersales, service tools, or fleet platforms.Experience with multi-region, large-scale deployments.
