Advisory Board Member – Clinical Neuroscience
About the OpportunityAbout the Opportunity
Evren Technologies is a clinical-stage medical device company developingPhoenix —a first-of-its-kind, FDA-designated Breakthrough Device for the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) using non-invasive transauricular vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS).
As Phoenix advances toward FDA pivotal trials, the company is entering a critical phase of scientific validation, clinical translation, and early market readiness.
PTSD affects more than 13 million Americans, yet many patients experience limited or no relief from current standards of care, which rely heavily on pharmacologic and exposure-based therapies that can present side effects, adherence challenges, and high dropout rates.
Phoenix is designed to address this gap. Through a closed-loop, ear-level neuromodulation system, patients can receive safe, non-invasive treatment at home—targeting autonomic nervous system regulation. The platform is supported by clinical evidence, FDA Breakthrough Device Designation, and active collaboration across the VA, NIH, and Department of Defense research ecosystem.
Evren’s mission is to deliver an evidence-based, scalable, and accessible treatment for PTSD—expanding care options while improving long-term outcomes.Role Overview
Evren Technologies is seeking anAdvisory Board Member – Clinical Neuroscienceto provide high-level scientific and clinical guidance as the company progresses through pivotal trials, VA deployment, and early commercialization.
This is a board-level advisory opportunity for an accomplished clinician, neuroscientist, or translational expert with deep experience in clinical neuroscience, psychiatry, neurology, autonomic physiology, neuromodulation, or trauma-related care.
You will work closely with Evren’s executive, scientific, and clinical leadership to help shape the neuroscience strategy behind a novel bioelectronic approach to PTSD—ensuring strong scientific grounding, translational clarity, and clinical relevance.Key Responsibilities
